Once you register your interest in a role, the organisation looking for volunteers receives a notification from us letting them know that someone is interested in volunteering with them.
After they sign onto the platform, they'll see the contact information you've provided when you registered your interest, and they'll be directed to reach out to you to continue the application process. They will do this either via the email you provided, the optional telephone number if you gave that, or the on-site messaging feature.
Various factors can affect how quickly the organisation will reach out to you, including the size of the organisation, their operating hours, the particular role you've applied for - we tend to find that organisations normally reply within seven days, although we suggest giving organisations up to two weeks to respond to you before trying to follow your registrations of interest up with them directly.
